The obstacles and challenges I encounter during my college days.

My name is Alexa and I would like to share my story during my college days. I came from a broken family and my Father has only daily income (No work No Pay in other words). Every day is a challenging day for me from basic necessities such as food for our family; I still remember going to school without eating something. I could not concentrate my school during those days because I felt so weak and no energy to go to school.

So I decided to work part-time so that I can help my father at the same time I have a small income to pay my tuition for schools and I can buy basic needs. I struggle many times every day but somehow I manage to adjust my schedule and get to use on how I do for my part-time jobs and school works.

Then I meet some friends along the way;  I meet a friend in school and she also doing part-time modeling and we become close friends and she introduced me to part-time modeling and she informed me that the talent fee is higher than the part-time job I have which is sales lady. I tied it for my curiosity and of course, I get paid higher for the short time period and I can have more time with my school works.

I taking up a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism but then due to my part-time, I cannot meet up the schedules for practical reporting. So in my sophomore, I shifted to Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management because I also love traveling and new peoples. I enjoy my school days while doing my part-time jobs at the same time. I became the breadwinner of the family the and I managed to finish my college degree.

When I wrote this experience I have in the past; feels like very fresh for me and I could not believe I managed to do many things during that time. It was a really amazing accomplishment I have.

It was hope and dreams that I managed to break out of those obstacles during my school days. I hope you enjoy reading my short true-to-life experience.

Now; I am 26 years old and I am happily married.
